Details Job Details: We are searching for a dynamic,
detail-oriented Permanent Accountant to join our fast-paced finance
team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be an integral
part of our financial operations, providing crucial support in
managing and maintaining our financial systems. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in general ledger functions, GAAP,
and public accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a
similar role. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Accountant, you
will: 1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting
department including month and end-year process, accounts
payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and
utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and
expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations,
trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset
activity, debt activity etc. 2. Monitor and analyze accounting data
and produce financial reports or statements. 3. Establish and
enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. 4.
Coordinate and complete annual audits. 5. Provide recommendations
to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
6. Meet financial accounting objectives. 7. Establish and maintain
fiscal files and records to document transactions. Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's
degree or CPA certification is a plus. 2. A minimum of 2 years of
experience in public accounting or a related field. 3. Proficiency
in general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close
process. 4. Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles) and regulations. 5. Excellent knowledge of accounting
and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting
etc.) 6. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting. 7. Working
knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
8. Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks. 9.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 10.
Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced
