$37,800.00-$51,900.00 Annual This is the base salary pay range that
an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range
will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education
among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an

Johns Manville, a leading manufacturer and marketer of

products, is searching for a Disc Operator to join the team in
Tucson, AZ. 2nd Shift Schedule: M-Th: 4p-2a What You Bring to the
Team: /n - Maintain a safe work environment; complete all safety
and other training on schedule. /n - Work closely with EH&S.
Make sure OSHA and environmental requirements are being followed
throughout the facility. /n - Keep informed of all JSAs on all CNC
machinery and be confident you are aware of all changes. /n -
Operate CNC Lathes and VMCs, and other machine tools and hand tools
safely. /n - Operate lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists
and forklifts, safely lifting and moving parts and material. /n /n
/n - High School degree. Completion of a machinist apprenticeship
program or a technical certificate preferred. /n - Experience
setting up, editing G-Code programs and running CNC Lathes with
Fanuc controls. /n - Computer literate with experience using
Microsoft Office suite of programs. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. /n
- Positive manner of performance, team player, good written and
verbal communications skills. /n /n Safety: /n - Lift and move
items weighing up to 50 lbs. /n - Must be capable of performing
repetitive tasks. /n - Must have to ability to operate various hand
tools including pneumatic, electrical, and manual /n - Ability to
safely climb stairs and ladders throughout the workday. /n -
Ability to complete tasks associated with various hot works.
Including the ability to wear necessary PPE to protect worker from
such hot work hazards. /n - Ability to wear steel-toe safety shoes
for prolonged periods of time /n - Ability to work in a noisy
environment and wear hearing protection as required. /n - Ability
to work in a dusty environment and wear respiratory protection as
required. /n - Capable of using forklifts, cranes /n /n Preferred
Qualifications: /n - Interface with team members on all shifts and
other departments. Provide technical assistance to others according
to established operating procedures. /n - Willing to work any
shift. /n - Ability to manage multiple priorities. /n -
Self-starter having the ability to carry out assignments with
minimal direction and supervision. /n - Show initiative in
supporting safety plant wide. /n - Computer competency, capable of
learning to interface with required databases and programs. /n -
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. /n - Ability to
read, write and interpret complex items in English. /n - Ability to
work effectively with a diverse workforce. /n - Effective
interpersonal and communication skills. /n - Ability to work in a
fast-paced, stressful work environment. /n - Ability to
consistently make appropriate decisions with frequent
