Job Description Job Description We are seeking a full-time, experienced Senior Staff Accountant to support and manage accounting operations and financial reporting in a fully remote capacity. This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data, overseeing the month-end close process, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. Experience in healthcare, community health, or similarly regulated environments is preferred. Responsibilities: - Manage general accountingfunctions, including full-charge bookkeeping through month-end close - Prepare and analyzefinancial statements, reports, and supporting documentation - Ensure compliance with GAAPand internal accounting policies - Analyze financial data,identify trends, and resolve variances - Oversee preparation ofinternal and external financial reports - Support audits and respondto financial inquiries - Maintain accurate accountingrecords and improve accounting processes - Collaborate with internalteams on budgeting and financial reporting needs Compensation & Benefits: - Salary: $57,203 – $85,805per year (DOE) - Comprehensive health,dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Retirement plan options - Stable, mission-driven workenvironment Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or related field - 8 years of generalaccounting experience, including full-charge bookkeeping and financialstatement preparation - Expert knowledge ofaccounting principles and practices - Strong written and verbalcommunication skills in English - Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice, with advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, graphs, data analysis) - Experience with accountingsoftware; Peachtree and NextGen preferred - Computer literacy withstrong attention to detail - Knowledge of communityhealth centers or healthcare organizations preferred - Experience with reportwriter software, programming, and Adobe Standard strongly preferred
