products are found on many major Commercial and Military aircraft
in operation worldwide. Products and systems include hydraulic
actuation and valve systems, locking actuators, steering metering
control valves, fuse pins, hot forged bolts, pneumatic ducting and
valve seals, tubing system alignment joints, engine hot section and
structural components, airframe components, shock strut bearings,
PTFE lined spherical bearings and broad component maintenance,
overhaul, spares logistics and power-by-the-hour support services.
Sargent is also a major supplier of hydraulic control valves to the
US Navy on all Nuclear Class Submarine programs. Sargent has an
immediate opening for a Hydraulics Contracts Administration Manager
. Key Responsibilities: Ensure safety is the foundation of daily
work through vigilance and accountability Manage the contract
administration process, including the review, negotiation, and
execution of contracts Develop and implement contract
administration policies and procedures to ensure compliance with
company and regulatory requirements Oversee the preparation of
contract reports and documents, including proposals, change orders,
and contract status reports Monitor contract performance and
compliance, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues
Provide training and support to contract administration staff and
other departments as needed Maintain accurate contract files and
databases, and ensure that all contract-related information is
properly documented and stored Represent the company in
negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Support internal and external audits as necessary. Communicate
state of the business and new opportunities with senior leadership.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Business Administration, or a related field A minimum of 10 years
of experience in aerospace contract administration, with a strong
focus on government contracts Experience with CSI or similar ERP
system Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
(FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement
(DFARS) Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the
ability to effectively communicate with internal and external
stakeholders Excellent organizational skills and attention to
detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software
