Salaried / Full - Time Phoenix, AZ About the Role: The Operations
Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and
efficient functioning of our operations in Phoenix, AZ. This
position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing
team performance, and implementing operational strategies that
align with company goals. The Operations Supervisor will lead a
team of employees, ensuring they are trained and equipped to meet
safety standards and operational requirements. Additionally, this
role involves monitoring warehouse management systems and
dispatching processes to optimize productivity. Ultimately, the
Operations Supervisor is key to driving operational excellence and
fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within the
organization. Position type and expected hours of work: Hours of
work will depend on the job event and the manager. Evening, night,
and weekend work will be required as job duties demand. Summary:
The Asset and Environmental Compliance Supervisor is responsible
for overseeing the management and compliance of an organization's
assets and environmental practices. This role ensures that all
operations adhere to legal standards and internal policies,
promoting sustainable development and efficient asset utilization.
Will report to the Compost facility Operations Manager and work
with all Line of Business managers in the State of Arizona. Will
have direct maintenance/asset management oversight over 30 pieces
of compost equipment and indirect oversight of 80 OTR assets and 20

holidays Key Responsibilities: Asset Management: Work with Area
Managers to implement asset management strategies. Monitor and
optimize the Services of assets to ensure maximum efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of asset inventory and condition.
Coordinate asset maintenance and replacement schedules.
Environmental Compliance: Work with the Corporate Environmental
team to implement environmental policies and action plans. Ensure
compliance with local, state, and federal environmental
regulations. Conduct environmental audits and assessments. Report
on environmental performance to internal and external stakeholders.
Manage waste, pollution control, and recycling programs at the PHX
Compost facility. Safety: Enforcing Safety Policies: Implementing
safety protocols per company policy and working with the on-site
team and the division safety team to tailor to the organization's
needs and ensure compliance with regulations. Conducting Risk
Assessments: Identifying potential hazards and developing
strategies to mitigate risks. Training Employees: Organizing safety
training sessions and educating employees on emergency procedures
and the use of protective equipment. Monitoring Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies
through regular inspections. Investigating Incidents: Analyzing
accidents and near-misses to determine causes and implement
preventative measures. Safety Audits: Conducting inspections to
assess workplace conditions and employee compliance. Emergency
Preparedness: Coordinating drills and safety awareness activities.
Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed safety files and preparing
reports for management. Leadership and Training: Direct one
mechanic and ensure their tasks align with compliance and asset
management goals. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure
accurate and timely data collection. Support the operations manager
in safety training and compliance initiatives. Provide training on
environmental issues and asset management practices. Promote
corporate social responsibility initiatives. Act as the backup
supervisor when the operations manager is away. Regulatory Liaison:
Manage environmental service agreements. Coordinate with regulatory
agencies and assist the Operations Manager in active participation
in public hearings. Stay updated on new environmental laws and
regulations. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in environmental
science, Engineering, Maintenance or a related field. Minimum of 5
years of experience in asset management and environmental
compliance. Strong understanding of asset management principles.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven leadership and team management abilities. Skills: Strong
problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in data
analysis and reporting. Effective project management and
multitasking capabilities. Work Environment: Interaction with
various departments and external stakeholders. Regular updates and
reporting to senior management. This role is crucial for ensuring
that the organization not only complies with environmental
standards but also optimizes its asset usage for sustainable
growth. Physical demands : To successfully perform the essential
functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit,
talk, climb, and hear. The employee is constantly required to use
hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or
controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is
occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and
walk. The employee must occasionally lift. Specific vision
abilities required by the job include close vision, distance
vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust
