Job Description Job Description Position Summary: Accurate
Corrosion Control, Inc. (ACCI) is seeking a skilled and driven
Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of cathodic
protection and corrosion control projects. This role combines
technical engineering responsibilities with project management
duties, providing end-to-end ownership of assigned contracts. The
ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude, field
experience, and client-facing communication skills. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: Engineering: - Perform and review
Engineering designs. - Support Engineering projects during the
design phase by performing calculations as needed, assembling
installation specifications, gathering vendor/supplier cut sheets,
and assembling the final design package. - Assist the Technical
Support Department by compiling data and generating reports for
CIS, rectifier influence studies, etc. - Support in the ongoing
development of documents for ECDA and ICDA post assessment reports.
- Prepare cost estimates, quotes and proposals to develop new work.
- Work closely with client to deliver contract expectations. -
Perform cathodic protection field investigations as required. -
Other duties may be assigned Project Management: - Project
Management to include but not limited to client communications,
scheduling, planning and permitting, job costing, preparation of
invoice material, and project financials. - Cost Management:
Monitor project operational costs, approve employee dailies, manage
invoices, and ensure financial controls are adhered to. -
Procurement and Logistics: Manage the procurement of construction
materials, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage, and oversee
warehouse operations with forklift use. - Documentation &
Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation and provide
regular updates to both clients and internal management, ensuring
transparency and accountability Supervisory Responsibilities: This
position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Education
and/or Experience: - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
(Electrical Engineering preferred) - AMPP CP-2 preferred or
willingness to obtain - Experience with Microsoft Office Software
required. - Basic understanding of electrical circuits preferred. -
Must have good planning, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record per insurance
requirements, and evidence of insurability - Must pass
pre-employment DOT screening and physical as well as being subject
to random drug testing throughout employment Knowledge/ Skills
/Abilities: - Knowledge of design functions, construction,
monitoring, and troubleshooting of cathodic protection systems. -
Ability to exercise skill in the design, construction, monitoring,
and repair of cathodic protection facilities. - Knowledge of
practices, procedures, tools, materials, and equipment used in the
application of corrosion control measures. - Knowledge of corrosion
instrumentation. - Knowledge of protective coating - Knowledge of
occupational hazards and required safety precaution related
assigned duties. - Must be able to communicate professionally in
all aspects. - May be required to participate and represent the
company in professional organizations. - Ability to read and
comprehend multifaceted instructions, correspondence, and memos,
write professional correspondence utilizing proper grammar, and
professionally communicate verbally with all levels of employees in
English is required. - Ability to plan, organize, and oversee
assigned work processes. - Ability to analyze, develop, and
implement corrective action to resolve problems. Physical Demands &
Work Environment: Work is performed in both an office environment
and the field. In both settings, employee may lift weights up to 50
pounds unassisted. Travel may be required including overnight stays
for several days. Office work may include extended periods of
sitting to perform administrative activities. Field work may
involve negotiating rough terrain, mountainous or desert regions,
or heavy urban traffic areas. It may also be located in remote
areas and performed alone. When in the field, work is performed
outside in conditions that may include winter conditions or extreme
summer heat and sun. Work may include repetitive standing,
stooping, bending, squatting, and walking. Occasionally, may
require walking up to 5 - 10 miles in a day. May drive a 4-wheel
