world. Raytheon Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities
(SE&TC) is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist) to join
our Raytheon Flight Test Operations (FTO) team. This role supports
multiple functions in the planning and execution of aircraft
maintenance activities. Responsibilities include coordinating daily
and scheduled maintenance actions with engineering and flight
operations, serving as the IA for the fleet, and supporting major
aircraft modifications by working with DERs and DARs. The
Maintenance Specialist prepares and maintains required
documentation such as FAA Form 337s, 8110s, and related approval
data. The role also assists with logistics coordination for
occasional off-site maintenance or inspection events to ensure
proper documentation, tooling, and support are in place. This
position is an onsite role based in Tucson, Arizona with occasional
travel. What You Will Do Coordinate daily, scheduled, and
unscheduled maintenance activities with engineering and flight
operations. Serve as the IA for Raytheon test aircraft (CL601 and
C206), ensuring all maintenance actions meet regulatory and
airworthiness standards. Participate in major aircraft
modifications, working directly with DERs, DARs, and other
regulatory partners. Maintain required FAA documentation and
approval packages, including Form 337s, 8110s, and supporting data.
Coordinate logistics and planning for off-site maintenance events,
inspections, and modification activities. Perform work in
classified and SAP environments Travel up to 20% to support flight
test deployments or technical interchange meetings. Typical travel
sites include Ontario, CA; Eglin AFB, FL; and occasional short
duration travel for CONUS and OCONUS flight test deployments in
support of RTX programs The ability to obtain and maintain an SAP
Top Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required).
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires: A University
Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of eight (8) years
prior relevant experience. FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P)
Certificate with current Inspection Authorization (IA). 5 or more
years of progressively responsible aircraft maintenance experience,
including heavy maintenance, major repairs/modifications, or fleet
support. Experience working with FAA regulatory processes,
including Form 337s, 8110 approvals, major alterations, STCs,
DER/DAR coordination, and conformity inspections. Active and
transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required
prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required. Qualifications
We Prefer Prior experience in defense, government contracting, or
special-mission aircraft operations. Familiarity with flight test
or experimental aircraft support. Strong problem-solving skills and
ability to make sound decisions under time pressure. Proficiency
with digital maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, Corridor,
IFS, Ramco). Leadership ability with a focus on safety,
accountability, and continuous improvement. Top Secret Security

107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
