Control Specialist will perform a variety of technical and business
tasks in support of production factories or programs. This
individual will support the associated tasks listed below which are
necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of
which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or
program’s cost and schedule requirements. This position will also
directly support CORE and other continuous improvements. What You
Will Do Evaluate and coordinate training needs to better utilize
metrics and system accuracy. Evaluate and improve process flows
regarding the assemblies that are in progress, material
availability, and potential production problems. Propose solutions
to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due
to any slips in material orders. Controls on hand material through
its life cycle; issue to work orders or projects, returns to
suppliers, ships to customers, etc. Support analysis of multiple
Bills of Material and Chemical Bills of Material in an MRP system;
releasing work orders and tracking material though the build
process Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality
assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering. Leads
projects and teams to accomplish continuous improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree
or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant
experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum
three (3) years' experience. Experience with either Production
Control, Operations, or Supply Chain. Active and transferable U.S.
government issued security clearance is required prior to start
date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with 1.4 Explosives Experience with Government and Depot
type processes Experience with formula applications and creating
pivot tables in MS Excel Experience reading and evaluating lists of
parts required for production work and working with a production

salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an
