Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,591 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Neuro Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Circulate and Scrub experience is a plus. - ACLS and CNOR preferred. - Members in AORN. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neuro Operating Room. The nurse will work a day shift of 10 hours, four days a week. A guaranteed 40 hours per week is provided. The unit consists of neurosurgery with a total of 11 suites. The common types of cases include craniotomies, tumors, carotid surgeries, spine fusions, lumbar procedures, scoliosis surgeries, shunts, brain biopsies, and deep brain stimulation. Approximately 400 to 450 cases are managed each month, averaging 20 to 25 per day. The nurse will be expected to maintain competence in sterile field practices, particularly for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Education will be provided for lifts, restraints, and wound care. The facility has 24/7 pharmacy and radiology services. The schedule includes a rotation for holiday shifts, with some potential on-call responsibilities. The nursing team comprises 70% registered nurses and 30% certified surgical technologists. Shifts are open from early morning to late evening, Monday through Friday, with call teams available. Floating to other units may occur for nurses with a general surgery background.
