Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Chandler, AZ Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,984 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224! ID: 75283000 Shift: 12H Nights 4 weekend shifts/4 week schedule first to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Description: Unit POSITION REQUIRES TELE EXPERIENCECannot live within 50 miles of the facility. Must provide current driver's license upon submitting.Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months. Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months for both CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions.There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months.MUST BE ABLE TO READ STRIPS & DUE TO FLOATING TO TELE UNITS, MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DOWN ONLY: AMIO & CARDIZEM- Unit: MedSurg A3 (formerly C5) - beds: 32 beds. Ortho, Surgical, Oncology- Certs: BLS, ACLS- Ratios: 1:4 ratio days and nights.- Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients. Also has Unit Supervisor.- Nurse Aides: PCTs on days. 1 PCT or Task RN at night.- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat). One major and minor holiday. - Scrub Color: Navy- Tele: GE Monitors. Central monitoring station tech to read.- Vents: NA- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Must call Physician.- IV Team: No. House SWAT Nurse available for hard IV sticks.- RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, ICU Pharmacist covers on days.- Shifts: 12 hrs. 7-7.- Floating: Float to MedSurg Tele B2C and B2D- Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology. Ortho - JHACO certified knee and hip program. 8-10 elective knee/hips per week.
