Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Varied work schedule with weekend and holiday requirements /n• Float per facility guidelines /n• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required /n• BLS certification required /n• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting required /n• Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area /n• Bachelor's degree preferred /n• Professional certification preferred /n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients /n• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities /n• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs and policy guidelines /n• Formulate and implement plans of care including discharge planning /n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records /n• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members /n• Provide patient and family education /n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds /n• Requires physical agility to respond to unexpected patient care needs /n• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization is a leading medical center that provides comprehensive patient care services with a focus on excellence in nursing practice.
