Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Glendale, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,010 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - 2 years of prior experience in Labor and Delivery - C-section experience, including scrub, recovery, and circulate experience Description: Unit information: - 10 Labor and Delivery beds - 2 Operating Rooms - 2 Triage beds - 18 Postpartum beds Birth statistics: - Approximately 130 births per month Staffing ratios: - 1:1 close to delivery - 1:2 otherwise - 1:4 couplets on postpartum Fetal monitoring system: Obix fetal monitoring Electronic medical record system: Cerner Charge Nurse shared between Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Nurse Aides/OB techs available as scrub techs in Labor and Delivery Weekend requirement: 4 shifts in a 4-week period No call requirement Holiday requirement: 1 Major and 1 Minor holiday Major holiday for RNs: Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years Common patient diagnoses: - Deliveries down to 23 weeks - High-risk patients including antepartum and hypertension Perinatology support available No floating between units unless NICU background for feeder/grower Floor-specific orientation: 3 shifts Cancellation policy: 4 shifts can be canceled during the 13-week assignment Charting system: Cerner Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
