Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient Location: Rio Rico, AZ Duration:13-week contract Shift: Day shift, 5x8s (08:00 – 16:30) Job Responsibilities: /t - /t Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients based on physician referral or direct access /t /t - /t Develop, implement, and supervise plans of care for patients /t /t - /t Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and PT technicians according to PT plan of care /t /t - /t Evaluate and treat injured workers; apply ACOMP systems for return-to-work plans /t /t - /t Utilize facility modalities and exercise equipment /t /t - /t Perform post-offer testing (e.g., WorkSTEPS, APET) /t /t - /t Conduct Work Hardening Evaluations and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) /t /t - /t Perform ergonomic evaluations and job analyses /t /t - /t Oversee clinic organizational and cleaning tasks, directing PT technicians /t /t - /t Manage patient scheduling, referrals, and phone communications /t /t - /t Apply billing codes accurately for various payer types /t /t - /t Update rehab nurses weekly regarding patient progress /t /t - /t Maintain communication with referring physicians through timely evaluation and progress notes /t /t - /t Ensure all state licensure requirements are current and in good standing /t /t - /t Maintain professional conduct with patients, providers, case managers, insurers, and industry contacts /t /t - /t Assist in marketing, business development, and educational programs /t /t - /t Participate in community outreach representing the organization /t /t - /t Perform additional tasks as needed for clinic operations /t Required Experience & Qualifications: /t - /t Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience /t /t - /t Active state Physical Therapy license in good standing /t /t - /t BLS certification /t /t - /t Experience with charting systems /t HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31686115.
