qualified CVICU RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Job Title RN
(Registered Nurse), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
City/State: Phoenix, Arizona Shift: 12hr nights, 4 total weekend
shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage Contract
Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/09/2026 Job Description: The RN in
the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) will provide
high-level care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiac
surgery and other cardiovascular conditions, with an emphasis on
maintaining a sterile field during procedures. The position
requires strong clinical skills in a Level I Trauma setting.
Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed CVICU
with a patient ratio of 1:1-2. Perform bedside procedures including
bronchoscopy, epidurals, and Swan-Ganz catheterization. Float to
other ICU and telemetry units as needed, with a patient ratio of
4:1 on telemetry. Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion
and central line dressing changes. Requirements: Current ACLS and
BLS certification. Level I Trauma experience and dysrhythmia exam
clearance. Strong IV and sterile field maintenance skills required.
Must pass SIMs Lab on day 1 of orientation. 5 Benefits of Travel
