Job Description Apidel Technologies is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Goodyear, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 02/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Traveler be 100 miles away from Goodyear, AZ 85338 Title: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Goodyear, AZ 85338 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30), with potential for 4th shift if needed, Tuesday-Thursday. Job Details: Speech language pathologist for inpatient/outpatient setting at acute care hospital. Working with patients recovering from oncology related surgery. Medically compromised patients for both inpatient and outpatient, mainly head and neck cancers, assessing swallowing capability, oxygen, breathing, after surgery. Cognitive rehabilitation assessments, mostly chemo related. Must be able to perform modified barium swallow study, read results, and read back to patient for treatment. Must be able to coordinate with other disciplines such as dieticians for diet upgrades, etc. Average of 6-9 patients per day, 3x8 shifts with potential for 4th shift if needed, Tuesday-Thursday. Patient Diagnoses: Oncology related surgery (head and neck), swallow capability after, inpatient (medically compromised, oxygen, making sure they can breathe and swallow, cog. rehab - chemo related), outpatient (post head and neck cancer, chemo, post op, managing voice changes, etc, lung cancer, swallow strat/breathing strat) cog. rehab for both. Swallow studies required, state license required on submission, will be working by themselves. 3x8 Tues-Thur, possibility for extra shift. Special Procedures/Unit Details: mod barium swallow study, read results and read back to patient for treatment. Coordinate with other disciplines, diet upgrades, etc. Must have: 1 yr experience REQUIRED, state license in hand at time of submission REQUIRED, 1st time travelers OK, no new grads since clinician will be working alone most of the time. 24 hours of unit orientation, light grey scrubs not provided by unit. Epic documentation. Certifications REQUIRED: State license (in hand at time of submission) BLS MBSImP Certifications PREFERRED: CCC-SLP FEES Apidel Technologies Job ID API.
