BACKGROUND: Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating
opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona,
Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon
serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon
provides job training and placement, supported and center-based
employment, and day treatment programs to assist the more than
two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have

POSITION INTRODUCTION: The primary objective of Program Managers at
Beacon Group is to facilitate the provision of services to support
clients as they reach their employment objectives, including
attaining employment outside of Beacon Group. Ensure compliance
with all referral source requirements. Fully understand and follow
all DDD (and other referral sources) program service specifications
for all clients on their caseload. BENEFITS: Competitive

and floating holidays. DUTIES Design employment and pre-vocational
plans around client strengths, rights, needs, preferences, and
choice. Develop strategies for implementing training goals and
objectives. Follow all referral partner and Beacon Group rules and
regulations regarding service provision. Be responsible for
paperwork and documentation requirements of assigned clients and/or
duties. Develop, coordinate, and implement Individual Support Plans
(ISP) and/or related Planning documents. Facilitate and/or
participate in effective Planning document / Team Meetings. Provide
information on benefits, health coverage, and employment supports
to reduce the myths that are barriers to employment and financial
self-sufficiency for people with disabilities (DB101). Provide
program information to inquiries. Orient new clients, participants,
families to the agency. Meet and greets for potential clients,
including tours of the facilities, if required, and sit-down
sessions to discuss available services and the referral process.
Maintain positive, working relationships with referral sources,
coworkers, families, guardians, clients, etc. Prepare monthly and
quarterly progress reports for referral sources within due date.
Submit teaching objectives within 20-days of clients starting a
service. Prepare annual Individual Eligibility Evaluation (IEE)
reports within 30-days of program start and annually thereafter.
Advocate for clients to make progressive moves. Ensure proper
service authorizations are in place at the time of service, request
changes to service authorizations as needed. Maintain accurate
documentation and data in Beacon's electronic record (CMS) of all
client case files. Ensure that annual and semi-annual Planning
documents and other relevant documentation are current and on file.
Maintain and secure client files to preserve confidentiality.
Ensure client availability for Beacon's Supported Employment
opportunities through recruitment and onboarding of new clients,
client job reassignments, and progressive moves. Develop and
implement strategies to improve efficiencies and better use
technological tools. Work independently and effectively with little
direction and use good judgment when making decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation,
Human Services or related field and two years' experience in a
vocational rehabilitation or related setting. In lieu of a degree,
two additional years of relevant experience may be acceptable.
Master's degree is preferred. Must pass drug and background
screens. Must be able to maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
WORK HOURS AND SCHEDULE: M-F 8hr days. We are an Ability One
