Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in a school setting. This role focuses on helping students with special needs develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and performance. As a key part of our committed staff, you'll work closely with students with varying levels of disabilities, tailoring programs to promote student success in a supportive educational environment. This role requires collaboration with teachers, families, and other school staff to implement comprehensive plans that assist each student's progress. Assess student needs and develop physical therapy interventions and strategies. Work collaboratively with educators, staff, and parents to implement effective therapy solutions. Document students’ progress and adapt programs as needed. Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment. Educate school staff and families about physical therapy programs. Expertise in developing therapy programs for children with various disabilities Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapy license CPR and First Aid certification preferred Experience in special education environments is highly valued
