world.Raytheon's Airborne Effector Production (AEP) Department is
responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative
electrical products. Accountable for program execution including
cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product
lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment
activities of airborne electrical products. - Our multi-disciplined
teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a
work life balance. - -The AEP department is searching for a
full-time Electrical Subsystems Lead with experience as Integrated
Product Team Lead (IPTL) that will lead the effort to increased
rate capacity on the production program. The role of the Electrical
Subsystems Lead is to manage a cross-functional and
cross-discipline team of engineers through the capacity increase
efforts on program. The Electrical Subsystem Lead will provide both
technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitments.
They will interact closely with the production program and
Operations teams in support of the overall capacity increase
effort. They will also manage supplier activities, which will
include travel to support the supply base as increasing capacity
capabilities are realized. -What You Will Do:
- Candidate will work as part of a highly motivated team to
resolve issues that may arise during this project. collaborating
and coordinating with:
- Colleagues within Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and other
functions
- Colleagues from other Engineering disciplines;
- Functional and Program leadership;
- Customer and Supplier teams.
- Qualified candidate must have experience with digital, analog
and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card
assemblies or electro-mechanical systems as they will be leading
other engineers through these efforts.

- This position is located 100% ONSITE in Tucson, AZ
- Work environment is primarily in an office, but may include
labs, field work, or a combination.
- Travel up to 25%Qualifications You Must Have
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering, preferably in
Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 -years of engineering experience with progressing
leadership roles
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with any of the following as it relates to
Electrical subsystems and/or Circuit Card Assembly:
- Development,
- Integration,
- Test
- Production support
- Experience with analog, digital and/or mixed signal circuit
design/analysis or hardware integration/test
- Experience with system of systems, including understanding
interconnections between systems, tracing
requirements/specifications, and explaining functionality to
non-engineers.
- Experience in Failure Investigation Teams (FIT) / Failure
Review Boards (FRB), leading root cause analysis and corrective
action efforts.
- Experience in data analysis and using data-driven
decision-making processes.
- Experience in production processes, procedures, and/or tools
used in production environments.
- Supplier Engagement and Management:
- Experience in engaging with and/or managing suppliers;
including, but not limited to experience with their scope, ensuring
technical rigor, identifying areas for improvement and/or ability
to develop and maintain a risk posture per supplier.
- Test Equipment oversight:
- Experience with production processes and/or test
capabilities.
- Experience with the capacity scope of new test equipment and/or
ensuring technical rigor for production releases.
- Production Optimization and Yield Improvement:
- Experience in leading teams test optimization and/or yield
improvements.
- Experience with missile systems
- Experience in capturing current baselines, identifying
opportunities to reduce test while maintaining technical
requirements, and/or leading efforts to increase yield outputs for
production.These qualifications ensure that the candidate is
well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the Missile
Capacity Technical Lead position effectively.Qualifications We
Prefer
- Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA, EO,
RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystem; including circuit
design, CCA assembly, electrical test and
production/supplier/sub-tier supplier support of test equipment,
test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed
circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and
related industry specifications.
- Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics
Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, Computer
Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High
Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), Advanced Design System (ADS),
Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer.
- Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data
links, inertial measurement units (IMU) and Global Positioning
System (GPS) receiver subsystems.
- Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test
flight analysis, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control
(SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements, technical
writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change
Notices.
- Leadership of technical teams, including technical oversight
and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination,
preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal
support.
- Team Engagement:
- Experience in engaging and collaborating with Operations teams
for capacity model analysis/validation, factory movement/facilities
installations, and releasing new capacity equipment to the
production floor.
- Ability to lead program technical decision-making or solution
efforts based on Operations team activities.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced

- Tucson, AZ: The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD -
203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
