seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Environmental, Health,
and Safety (EHS) Design Review Specialist to join our team. This
role will focus on providing expertise in EHS compliance during the
design and review phases of projects, ensuring adherence to
federal, state, and local regulatory standards such as OSHA, NFPA,
IFC, IBC, and EPA. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively
with cross-functional teams, including engineering, facilities, and
EHS departments, to integrate safety and compliance considerations
into the design and operational processes. What You Will Do Conduct
thorough EHS reviews of project designs, plans, and specifications
to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, IFC, IBC, EPA, and other
applicable regulations. Collaborate with design teams to identify
and mitigate potential health, safety, and environmental risks
during the planning and design phases. Serve as the subject matter
expert on EHS regulations and standards, facilitating compliance
throughout project lifecycles. Perform risk assessments to evaluate
potential hazards in project designs and propose solutions to
eliminate or reduce risks. Prepare detailed reports, including
recommendations for design modifications to meet EHS requirements.
Maintain documentation of design reviews, risk assessments, and
compliance activities for audit purposes. Identify opportunities to
enhance EHS design review processes and implement improvements.
Stay current with industry standards, trends and technologies to
advance EHS integration in design. Collaborate with cross
functional units such as project managers, operations, contractors,
finance, quality, etc. Qualifications You Must Have Typically
requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5
years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related
field and minimum 3 years' experience A degree in Construction
Management, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Occupational
Safety, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in
Construction Safety, EHS Compliance, Safety Engineering, or Design
Review with a focus on OSHA, NFPA, IFC, IBC, and EPA regulations.
Qualifications We Prefer Ability to effectively organize and manage
multiple projects and programs in a fast-paced environment and
demonstrate effective prioritization and implementation skills.
Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills
Certifications to include Construction Health and Safety Technician
(CHST), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Safety
Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician
(OHST), or equivalent. Strong knowledge of EHS and regulations and
standards (OSHA, NFPA, IFC, IBC, EPA). Experience in design review
tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM). Detail-oriented with a
proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Familiarity
with risk assessment methodologies and tools. What We Offer Our

salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
