Required Skills: Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Surgery. Proven experience performing complex pediatric surgical procedures. Strong understanding of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Excellent surgical skills with attention to detail and precision. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate communication skills tailored to pediatric patients and their families. Knowledge of current best practices and medical standards in pediatric surgery. Proficiency in documenting procedures accurately and efficiently. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques. Previous work in a hospital or specialized pediatric surgical center. Bilingual abilities to communicate with diverse patient populations. Research background or involvement in pediatric surgical innovations. Familiarity with the latest surgical technologies and equipment. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Residency training in Pediatric Surgery. At least 3 years of post-residency surgical experience focusing on pediatrics. Relevant board certifications and continuing medical education credits. Other Requirements: Valid medical license to practice in the applicable jurisdiction. Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). Ability to travel to different healthcare facilities or locations as needed. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.
